I received a call last night (9/20) from the hospital. Apparently, they need almost $3000 by my pre-op appointment tomorrow (9/22). It was hard enough to get the thousand dollars for my dr.'s fee. Just wanted to update you guys. Although my physical condition remains the same, a huge emotional weight has been lifted from my shoulders. After setting up a website and paypal donation button, I have been extremely blessed by my friends. In less than a week, 95% of the doctor's fee has been donated.
